Just saw and heard Ryan for the first time singing 200 More Miles on the Cowboy Junkies' Trinity Revisited. Great job! To me, his voice on that song sounds a lot like Ricky Nelson. In fact, Ryan could probably do equally well covering Poor Little Fool or Hello Mary Lou. What a hoot that would be. Maybe he could hire James Burton to do some guitar work before he croaks!

Not to sound redundant but I too LOVE Ryan. I was able to catch him at Red Rocks this summer and again in Chicago the night after his minneapolis meltdown. He still wasn't in the best mood and starting pounding on the lid of his piano in the middle of Sylvia Plath for some odd reason but aside from that, the show was great. He is unbelievable, tantrums and all!

Just saw one half, or less, of Ryan Adams playing in Birmingham, AL. I'm not sure who to be pissed at. I could be mad at the fans that were requesting, then out right heckling. Then, I could be mad at Ryan, for stiffing me the only concert I'll probably make it to this Fall. No, I won't be able to catch him another time, for a very long time. Hate that Diva attitude, sorry those of us who wanted the full set list couldn't curtail a few people that we absolutely have never met.
